The soil consists of clay, sandstone, sand, and ancient lake deposits.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 2025 growing season began with budding at the end of March. Ample rainfall throughout spring and early summer ensured good water reserves, which helped the vines through the unusually warm June. In August, heat and intense sunlight accelerated ripening, before September rains slowed the pace and ensured a more balanced development. The yield was slightly lower than usual, but the grapes achieved a beautiful aromatic and structural balance.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe grapes were hand-harvested on September 29 and gently handled before whole-cluster pressing in vertical presses. After a nightly cold settling, the must was fermented in both wooden barrels and amphorae without malolactic fermentation.
