In the town of Barolo lives this excellent producer, who must be described as one of the greatest traditionalists. That this house is one of the best in the area is indisputable. The wines are sought after as few, and unfortunately we only sell these wines in allocation. We are very proud that many years ago we got Beppe's permission to sell his wines. Production is extremely limited and the wines are sold out as soon as they are released. Barolo is produced from 4 different fields, Brunate, Le Coste, Cannubi S Lorenzo and Ravera. Vinification is carried out separately and finally the wines are blended into the two wines Brunate and Tre Tine. No filtration, no use of yeast. Completely natural wines.
Approx. 6 hectares of vineyards, 4 of which are used for Barolo.
Beppe died after a short illness on 2 September 2018. A huge loss for the whole area. One of the greats who set the agenda for classic Barolo together with Bartolo Mascarello, Guiseppe Mascarello and others.
There is no reason to worry about the wine. Daughters Marta (oenologist in 2008) and Carlotta (agronomist in 2012) have had complete control of matters for many years, and Beppe and the girls made a fantastic team in the end, and the wines have never been better than now.
