Shipping policy
As a rule, the delivery time for all orders is 1-3 business days. Delivery is made with the shipping company chosen by the customer. We deliver to Denmark, Sweden, and most European countries.
IMPORTANT:
Upon delivery, we recommend that the packaging is checked thoroughly to detect any transport damage at the time of delivery. If the item is not in good condition upon receipt, or if you find hidden damages to the item (where there were no visible signs on the packaging), please contact copenhagenwine.dk (tel. 51569918 or kontakt@copenhagenwine.dk) as soon as possible and within a reasonable time. In case of damage/defects, all packaging should be kept as documentation to show it was a hidden damage.
We recommend that hidden damages discovered after unpacking are reported no later than the next business day by 12:00, as this significantly eases the burden of proof with the carrier/warehouse.
If the item’s packaging is damaged upon receipt, we recommend that you note this on the delivery note when signing for the item. However, you should refuse to accept the item if the item itself is clearly damaged. You are then asked to contact Copenhagen Wine to arrange the next steps.
If you live in a remote area, have a garage, or similar, it can be arranged that the item is left without a signature. This will be at your own risk regarding theft, potential damage, etc. If this is desired, it can be noted in the comment field during the order process.
If you are not at home when the delivery driver arrives, they will take the item(s) back. You will then need to arrange a new delivery through copenhagenwine.dk or organize collection yourself. If we need to deliver the item to you again, you will be responsible for the shipping costs.
