Terms of service
The following sales and delivery terms apply to all deliveries from copenhagenwine.dk. The terms apply in cases where no other written agreements have been made between you as the buyer and copenhagenwine.dk.
You can contact us at 51 56 99 18 or at kontakt@copenhagenwine.dk, which we respond to within 24 hours on business days.
Age Verification
We conduct mandatory age verification for all orders with delivery addresses in Denmark.
Order Confirmation
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email indicating which product(s) you have purchased.
If you wish to receive a copy of your order confirmation, you can log in to the site and find it under My Account or send an email to kontakt@copenhagenwine.dk.
Delivery
The standard delivery time for all orders is 1-3 business days. Delivery is made via PostNord. We deliver to Denmark and most European countries.
IMPORTANT:
Upon delivery, we recommend that the packaging is checked thoroughly to detect any transport damage at the time of delivery. If the item is not in order upon receipt, or if you find hidden damages on the item (where there were no visible signs on the packaging), please contact copenhagenwine.dk (tel. 51 56 99 18 or kontakt@copenhagenwine.dk) as soon as possible and within a reasonable time. In case of damages/defects, all packaging should be kept as documentation for a hidden damage.
We recommend that hidden damages discovered after unpacking be reported no later than the next business day by 12:00, as this significantly eases the burden of proof against the carrier/warehouse.
If the item's packaging is damaged upon receipt, we recommend that you note this on the delivery note when you sign for receipt. However, you should refuse acceptance of the item if the item itself is clearly damaged. You are then asked to contact copenhagenwine.dk to arrange the next steps.
If you live in a remote area, have a garage, or similar, it can be arranged that the item is left without a signature. This will be at your own risk regarding theft, possible damage, etc. If this is desired, it can be noted in the comment field when placing the order.
If you are not at home when the delivery driver arrives, they will take the item(s) back. You will then need to arrange a new delivery through copenhagenwine.dk or organize collection yourself. If we have to redeliver the item to you, you must bear the shipping costs.
Delivery Prices
The delivery costs are provided at the time of purchase. Generally, there is free shipping on all orders over DKK 1,000.
Price and Payment
All prices include VAT and other taxes. Prices are current daily prices. When you shop with copenhagenwine.dk, agreements are made in Danish.
You can order your items online and pay with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. No fees are charged for payment on copenhagenwine.dk. The amount will only be debited from your card when the items are shipped from copenhagenwine.dk. No larger amount than what you approved at the time of purchase can be withdrawn.
When paying with a credit card, you are always protected against misuse. You have the option to refuse a payment when you receive your statement. You have no liability if your card is misused in an online store using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system. This makes you better protected than in the physical world, where you have a liability of DKK 1,200 if your credit card is misused using the pin code. The data you send when paying with a payment card is encrypted (SSL), and only QuickPay can read it. Neither copenhagenwine.dk nor others can read the data.
The amount for the items is debited only when the items are shipped from our warehouse. On your statement, the transfer to copenhagenwine.dk will be listed as "copenhagenwine.dk".
We reserve the right to cancel orders placed with the intent of resale.
Cancellation/Return
After cancellation/return of a purchase, it will take 2-3 days for the amount to be debited from Copenhagen Wine’s bank account. When the amount is available on the customer’s bank account depends on when the purchase was made:
Purchases made between the 1st and the 19th of a month. For example, a purchase made on the 18th of a month will be debited from the customer’s bank account on the last banking day of the month. If the customer cancels the purchase on, for instance, the 22nd and copenhagenwine.dk has to refund, the amount will be available on the last banking day of the following month.
Purchases made between the 20th and the 30th/31st of a month. The purchase will be debited on the last banking day of the following month. If the cancellation occurs between the purchase date and the 19th of the following month, the payment will not be processed but will remain as a reservation on the card. The reservation will be released on the last banking day of the following month.
copenhagenwine.dk does not take responsibility for damages that our products may cause or damages that are directly or indirectly related to our products, such as stains on furniture, floors, etc.
