Collection: La Furnace

We have a very special relationship with this absolutely wonderful little winery in Montalcino. It all started with a visit to Fabio Gianetti and family in 1998. The warmth in the family was intoxicating, we have developed a very close friendship over the years. There has been wine here for many generations, but it was only when Franco and Germana took over from Franco's father, Giuseppe, and bought 4 more hectares in 1975, that actual production with bottling began. First vintages from Franco were 1987 Rosso di Montalcino and 1988 Brunello di Montalcino.

Fabio was given responsibility for the wine production starting with the 1999 Brunello di Montalcino, and today Franco reigns by the olive trees, which are his great love. His olive oil is excellent quality. Franco is only 84 years old, so of course he still works every day in the vineyard.

It produces approx. 18,000 bottles per year divided between 3 different Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and 1 Rosso di Montalcino DOC.

Has always had organic production
