Good old pear varieties such as Williams, Grev Moltke, Conference – harvested at optimum maturity – are the backbone of this pear spirit.

The pears are pressed and the sweet must frozen and then cryoconcentrated. This cryo-concentrated must is mixed with an eau-de-vie on pears and barrel-aged for just over a year.

The result is a delicious, warm, sweet avec, with lots of pears in the aftertaste.
