Appears to have a beautiful garnet red color, and the aroma reveals a broad bouquet of ripe fruits, accompanied by delicate notes of licorice and cinnamon.
The taste is dry and full-bodied with a remarkable structure and a well-balanced tannic texture that leaves a long and satisfying aftertaste. Best served at a temperature of 16-18°C, where the nuances of the wine are fully expressed.
The wine is particularly well suited to strong dishes, such as meat and game, but it is also excellent with mature cheeses.
Barbaresco is also ideal for thoughtful enjoyment outside of meals, where you can immerse yourself in its many layers of flavor.
Made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown in three different vineyards in the Barbaresco area. The fields have compact soil with a predominance of limestone and clay, and are situated at an altitude between 240 and 270 meters above sea level with a sunny exposure from the south, south-west and south-east.
After the harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed and crushed, after which the must ferments with skin contact in temperature-regulated steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is stored in French oak casks with a capacity of 20-45 hl, and subsequently bottled in our dark and quiet cellars, where it has time to develop its complex character.
