85% Mencía and for the rest a blend of brancellao, mouratón, sousón from vines that are from 80 to 110 years old and that stand at an altitude of up to 700 meters.

Fermentation in large open oak casks followed by 12 months in used French barriques and then a further 10 months in old 4,800 liter Austrian casks before bottling.

A super vintage that will have a long life.

This wine is a really nice example of the new Galician Atlantic expression, which is about a little less color and a lot more taste.

The taste is lots of ripe red berries, with a delicious perfume. Fresh and elegant with a wonderful juiciness, a fascinating aroma and an almost crisp minerality. The composition gives associations to fine pinot noir from the attractive slopes of Burgundy.
