Single field Barbaresco from Lodali. The grapes come from the field Rocche Dei 7 Fratelli.
The wine has an elegant nose with hints of violets, licorice and autumn leaves. The taste is full and harmonious with pleasant tannins (while young).
The wine is aged for 18 months in French and Slavic oak barrels, followed by six months in the bottle.
Excellent for game and aged cheeses.

The Lodali 2019 Barbaresco Rocche dei 7 Fratelli delivers dried fruit, cherry, tar, licorice and smoke. This is an elegant, mid-weight expression with very fine tannins and a long, polished finish. This wine gives us an encouraging view on the 2019 vintage and how the austere Nebbiolo grape has performed.
