François Gaunoux Meursault Clos des Meix Chavaux Monopole 2021

The "Clos des Meix Chavaux" monopoly land was acquired by the family in 2013 with an area of ​​3.47 ha. It is located at the northern end of Meursault. It is the largest monopoly field in the municipality. The sticks are approx. 60 years old and grows 250 m above sea level. The soil is distinctly limestone, which is fantastically expressed in the fine mineral character of the wine.

Easily recognizable Meursault. The scent is fresh and fruity with notes of yellow citrus fruits, almond and apricot.

The taste is direct and very inviting. Deliciously full and surrounded by a sublime and sharp minerality.
