Elegant and aromatic Vosne in classic style from two small lieux-dits in the northern part of the appellation – Bossières and Basses Maizières – where pinot noir thrives on chalky soils with a sublayer of stones and marl. Here is everything associated with great Vosne: finesse, fragrance, and silky smooth structure.

The wine opens with an intense and classic nose of cherry, wild strawberries, violet, and a hint of oriental spices and forest floor. The taste is juicy and slightly creamy with fine acidity and very discreet tannins, providing an elegant backbone without being obtrusive. The texture is soft and persistent, and the finish is long and aromatic.

Vosne-Romanée 2023 is captivating already now, but it will develop even greater complexity over the next 5–10 years. An ideal companion for poultry, veal, mushrooms, or just a calm evening with time to delve into the glass.

The small parcel at Chézeaux is just 0.274 ha and is ideally located with east to southeast exposure at 220–340 meters in altitude. The yield is low, and the work in the vineyard and cellar is marked by precision and gentleness – with spontaneous fermentation and aging in a moderate number of new barrels, ensuring the fruit and terroir are preserved pure and clear.
