Single vineyard Sangiovese from Monte Amiata, reflecting both craftsmanship and terroir.
With an intense and vibrant character, it opens with wild red berries, cherries, and a slight spicy undertone. The semi-carbonic maceration provides a juicy and immediate freshness, while the tannins are soft and finely integrated.
The grapes come from a small vineyard of only 0.9 hectares on Monte Amiata, located 600 meters above sea level. Here, the soil is characterized by clay-rich marl, which gives the wine depth and minerality, balancing its intense fruit.
The vineyards are organically and biodynamically cultivated, which supports the natural expression of the grapes and soil.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously with whole bunches and a semi-carbonic maceration over two weeks, where the grapes are pressed manually.
Aged in steel.
A wine best enjoyed slightly chilled, and pairs wonderfully with rustic dishes, grilled meats, or charcuterie.
Natural wine from Tuscany's wild mountain landscape – only 4,000 bottles produced.
