About the wine
The 2023 vintage fully lives up to the house's own description as a “graceful and young brilliant.”
The color is intense ruby red with purple hints, and the nose opens with fresh, ripe cherries and plums, immediately signaling the vintage's juiciness and elegance.
The taste is full-bodied and lively with soft, rounded tannins and a fresh acidity that gives the wine its classic, energetic Rosso expression.
It is a wine that is easy to love.
The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards at 180–420 meters altitude and ferment for a minimum of 15 days before the wine is aged for 5 months in large Allier barrels, 4 months in cement, and finally 5 months in the bottle.
The result is an elegant, aromatic, and exceptionally harmonious Rosso di Montalcino – exactly as it should be!
