This Brunello di Montalcino is the latest addition to the line of high-quality wines from Castello Tricerchi. Tomasso has outdone himself with this full-bodied and elegant Brunello, just like the "regular" Brunello in its aroma, it has notes of black cherry and strawberry with a touch of tobacco and chocolate, but is more elegant and well-balanced in its expression. The taste is soft and lingers on the palate for a long time.

The vineyards, which consist of a mixture of clay and sand, lie at an altitude of approx. 300 m. with a south-westerly exposure. The age of the fields is approx. 15 years and yields a yield of 5.3 tonnes of grapes per hectare, or equivalent to approx. 1.3 kg. per plant. All picking takes place by hand and vinification takes place in stainless tanks at a controlled temperature of 23 degrees for 14 days. The malolactic fermentation continues for five months, after which the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels of 15-20 hectoliters for 42 months. The wines are then aged for at least 6 months in the bottle before release.

Dark ruby red. On the nose balanced and inviting, opens on noble wood savouriness paired with rich berry fruit, elegant bouquet. On the palate beautiful balance and finesse, spreads with many layers over the tongue, hearty, supported by noble wood use, harmonious in approach and course with great length.
