This is a juicy and elegant red wine with ripe, dark fruit, spices and a slightly rustic character, but still with fresh acidity and only moderate, soft tannins. It performs best with dishes of medium intensity, where the fresh fruit meets a little richness and earthy notes without being drowned out. Its light structure and freshness make it perfect for fatty pork and charcuterie, while the moderate tannin and acidity play nicely against semi-firm sheep's and cow's milk cheeses. Serve it at 16-17 degrees, so the fruit and energy are allowed to unfold.

About the wine
Pourpre means purple in French and refers to the wine's beautiful color.
Juicy and characterful with a focus on freshness and drinking pleasure.
The wine offers dark berries, spices, and a slight rustic touch, yet still with the elegance and energy associated with the region.
The 2018 vintage provides slightly more ripe fruit and body.
