Barbaresco from Nebbiolo has firm, but already rounded, tannin, high acidity and aromas of violets, licorice and autumn leaves. The tannin meets fat and protein in matured meat and softens, while the acidity cuts through the richness and keeps the food fresh. The wine's elegant intensity suits dishes with corresponding depth best without overpowering them, and the earthy, autumnal notes play beautifully against mushrooms, game and aged cheese. Regionally it belongs naturally with the Piedmontese kitchen's braised dishes and truffle notes.

Elegant Single Vineyard Barbaresco from Lodali.
The grapes come from the Rocche Dei 7 Fratelli vineyard.
The wine has an elegant nose with hints of violets, licorice, and autumn leaves.
The taste is beautifully harmonious with pleasant tannins even at a young age. Truly fine balance.
The wine is aged for 18 months in French and Slovenian oak barrels, followed by six months in the bottle.
Excellent wine.
