This is a powerful and at the same time silky Brunello with ripe Sangiovese fruit, lively acidity, firm but ripe tannins and a fun, pulsating salinity. The full body and the high alcohol content of 14.5% call for robust, rich dishes, where the fattiness of the protein softens the tannins, while the fresh acidity cuts through and keeps the balance. The balsamic herbal notes of rosemary and violet play nicely against Tuscan game and spiced, slow-roasted dishes. The characteristic salinity makes it ideal for aged hard cheese and charcuterie.

About the wine
A deep ruby red and stronger wine compared to wine from their other vineyards.
Harvested in the first week of September.
Fermentation and maceration for 50 days in large open oak barrels. 24 months aging in large casks followed by 18 months in cement and a minimum aging of 12 months in bottle.
In the nose, it expresses itself as a symphony of aromas that go from the intense scent of red orange and violet to the fresh balsamic note of herbs. These vineyards are characterized by a creamier and silkier flavor combined with a fun and vibrant saltiness.
