Sangiovese from Poggioferro on the northwest slope of the ancient volcano Monte Amiata at an elevation of 600 meters.

The soil is marl - very calcareous clay, enriched by limestone and minerals from the volcano.

Super juicy and approachable Sangiovese.

Plenty of red berries in fine balance with freshness and soft tannins, and a taste that just invites another sip.

Spontaneous fermentation. Manual pressing.

Produced in stainless steel.

Organic.
