This rosé is light and elegant with fresh acidity, discreet fruit and a fine minerality, so it works best alongside dishes in the same light to medium-bodied register, where it doesn't get overpowered. The fresh acidity cuts nicely through the richness of charcuterie and soft cheeses, while the low tannin structure makes it friendly toward both fish and lighter poultry. Feel free to choose gentle preparations such as steaming and poaching, so the wine's finesse has room to unfold.

About the wine

A historic rosé, where 14 grape varieties unite in elegance and terroir.

A unique and fascinating wine, originating from an ungrafted vineyard from the late 1800s, located just 15 km from Montalcino.

Here, the vines grow in sandy soil, which imparts a special finesse and character to the wine. 

This rosé is made from 14 different grape varieties – 7 red and 7 white – which are harvested and pressed together to achieve the beautiful onion skin color. The wine is then fermented and aged in two different barrels: a 500-liter tonneau and a smaller 228-liter barrel from Burgundy. The result is an elegant and complex wine that balances subtle fruit, freshness, and a discreet minerality, truly reflecting the unique qualities of the terroir. A rosé that surprises and seduces with its history and expression.
