The wine is primarily sangiovese, but as a tribute to the old field in Greve, there is a very small proportion (less than 5%) of canaiolo and and colorino.

The wine could easily be called Chianti Classico DOCG, but it has always been called Gratius IGT, and it will continue to be so.

A very durable wine for the cellar.
