This Moscato d'Asti is lightly sparkling, aromatic and distinctly sweet, but the low alcohol and the fresh acidity make it refreshing rather than heavy. That's why it thrives best with the sweet kitchen, where you keep the dessert a touch less sweet than the wine itself, so the sweetness doesn't overpower and turn the wine tart. The scent of pear, citrus and honey plays beautifully against fruit desserts and light pastries, while the bubbles and the acidity cleanse the palate after something creamy. If you want to play with contrast, it can also work as a sweetish aperitif or with a salty snack, where the sweetness stands beautifully against the salt.

About the wine

Elegant delicious Asti of very high quality.‎

DolceRita is a lightly sparkling and aromatic wine from vineyards around Treiso in the heart of Piedmont.

It is made from 100% moscato, a grape that thrives on the sunny slopes and gives wine with aroma and sweetness in perfect balance.

In the glass, the wine is straw yellow with fine bubbles. The aroma is fresh and captivating with elderflower, pear, citrus, and a hint of honey. The taste is sweet, yet elegant and lively, with low alcohol and a natural freshness that makes it refreshing rather than heavy.

The grapes are harvested manually and fermented slowly in autoclaves for about a month, preserving the natural sweetness and sparkling character. Subsequently, the wine is aged for three months in the bottle before release.

Can be enjoyed as a sweet aperitif. Serve and enjoy well chilled.
