This Meursault is full-bodied and creamy with complete malolactic fermentation, a lightly toasted oak nuance and a fresh, mineral acidity that holds it all in balance. Weight and butter are best met with dishes that have a bit of richness and creaminess, so the wine's texture gets a partner, while the fresh acidity cuts through. Poultry, shellfish and creamy cheeses are obvious choices, and the nutty, ripe fruit plays nicely with both roasted vegetables and mature, creamy cow's-milk cheeses.

About the wine

Elegant Meursault with depth and finesse from the heart of Burgundy.

The wine offers a complex aroma of ripe fruit, nuts, and subtle notes of citrus and mineral undertones. The taste is full-bodied and well-balanced with a creamy texture and a long, persistent aftertaste marked by fresh acidity and a slight toasted nuance.

The grapes come from a plot midway up the slope with calcareous clay soil and southeast exposure. The vines are densely planted with 10,000 vines per hectare, some of which date back to 1935. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed, and the must is lightly clarified before fermentation with indigenous yeast strains. The wine is aged in 350-liter oak barrels in our underground cellars, where it undergoes full malolactic fermentation during the winter.

Best served at 12°C and can be stored for up to 5 years.
