Palmina Rosato is an elegant and precise interpretation of Sangiovese as a rosé.
The aroma opens with floral notes of rose petals, citrus blossom, and strawberries.
The taste is deliciously full-bodied and refreshing, with a slight saline minerality that elevates the red berry notes and provides a beautiful and precise finish.

The Sangiovese grapes for Palmina are harvested on average 15 to 20 days earlier than those used for Riecine’s red wines.
After careful selection in the vineyard, the grapes are brought to the sorting table, where they are completely destemmed. They are then transferred, without maceration, to gentle pressing.
The must is then poured into cement tanks, where it rests for 36 to 48 hours for a short sedimentation (grape remnants, yeast, and other impurities slowly sink to the bottom of the tank). After this, the wine is moved to new cement tanks, and the cloudy part that settles is discarded. Here the must begins its fermentation, without the addition of yeast, first at a natural temperature and then, during the full fermentation phase, cooled to 15°C by cooling elements built into the cement tanks. Duration approximately 40 days. Then stabilization, also in cement, for at least 4 months before bottling.
