This Dolcetto is juicy and medium-bodied with fresh red fruit, soft tannins and good freshness, and that makes it a classic everyday wine that loves light and lightly spiced food. The soft tannins and the fresh acidity cut nicely through the richness of charcuterie and light meat, while the fruit plays up against earthy and lightly spiced dishes. Feel free to serve it slightly chilled with antipasti, where the acidity keeps the palate fresh between bites. It is approachable enough to accompany an entire meal without dominating the more delicate dishes.

About the wine

Juicy Dolcetto - uncomplicated and honest!

100% dolcetto from old vineyards in the Perno zone in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Barolo area. The vines grow in sandy and clay-rich soil on plots with southeast and northeast exposure.

The color is a beautiful ruby red with violet nuances. The aroma is fresh and inviting with red berries, flowers, and slightly spicy and earthy nuances.

The taste is juicy and lively with fresh red fruit, a fine structure, and soft tannins. It is an elegant and straightforward dolcetto with good freshness and the uncomplicated charm that makes the grape a classic everyday wine in Langhe.

It works excellently both on its own and with food. Enjoy it slightly chilled. A lovely wine that can be enjoyed year-round.

The grapes are destemmed but not crushed, followed by natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is naturally stabilized and then aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks followed by about 2 months of bottle aging.

Only 2,000 bottles and 100 magnums of the 2025 vintage have been produced.
