Castello Tricerchi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020

The vineyards, consisting of a mix of clay and sand, are located at an altitude of about 300 m with a southwestern exposure. The age of the vineyards is approximately 26 years.

All harvesting is done by hand, and vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23 degrees for 30 days. The malolactic fermentation continues for five months, after which the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels of 15-20 hectoliters for 24 months. The wines are then aged for at least 8 months in the bottle before release.

24,000 bottles of this vintage have been produced.

The color is a beautiful clear ruby red. The aroma is full of ripe cherries and citrus with a hint of sweet spices and dark earthy notes. The taste is beautifully structured with perfectly balanced tannins. Lovely long and intense flavor.
