This Vosne-Romanée is a classic Pinot Noir with medium body, soft tannins and a fresh, berry-driven acidity, and it therefore thrives best in the company of elegant dishes rather than the very heaviest cuisine. The discreet oak notes and the earthy, spicy undertones play beautifully off mushroom, truffle and game, while the fresh acidity cuts through the richness of poultry and charcuterie without taking over. You can confidently let the wine meet dishes where red-fruit character and an umami-rich profile are allowed to resonate along.

About the wine

Elegant and profound Vosne-Romanée with classic finesse and complexity from one of Burgundy's most prestigious appellations.

It appears ruby red in the glass and entices with a complex aroma of red berries, cherry, violet, and a hint of spices like cinnamon and clove.

The taste is silky with ripe fruit notes, discreet oak influence, and a fine balance between fresh acidity and soft tannins - Classic top Pinot Noir.

Serve at 14-16 degrees to highlight the wine's complexity and subtle nuances.

A wine that brings together structure and finesse and will develop beautifully with a few years of aging.

The grapes come from old vines on 'Lieux dit' Croix Blanche - with limestone clay soil, which gives the wine its depth and elegance. The vineyards are situated at 320m on the slopes in Vosne-Romanée, where the microclimate and rich terroir create perfect conditions for pinot noir.

After manual harvest and meticulous selection, the wine ferments in small tanks and then matures for 12 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new. This process provides discreet smoky and spicy undertones that complement the wine's natural fruit character.
