This full-bodied Meursault has a creamy vanilla texture from barrel aging, ripe stone fruit and an intense, mineral freshness that keeps it in balance. Its weight and acidity therefore work best with dishes where butter, cream and richness need both a match in fullness and a fresh counterpoint. Choose poultry and shellfish in slightly richer preparations, along with creamy and nutty cheeses, where the wine's elegance and acidity are allowed to cleanse the palate.

20 percent new barrels are used in vinification.
