This full-bodied, barrique-aged Chardonnay has a rich and complex flavor with good structure, a creamy texture from the malolactic fermentation, and a mineral linearity that keeps the balance. We recommend pairing it with dishes of similar weight and richness, where buttery and creamy sauces meet the wine's body, while the fresh acidity cuts through and cleanses the palate. The wine's volume and oak character also stand up to heartier fish, poultry, and well-aged cheeses without being overpowered, and lightly roasted or baked preparations play up against the wine's smoky finesse.
