The nose presents tones of red fruits and balsamic.

The taste starts strong and almost harsh, and ends with a generous, elegant long finish. It can be enjoyed with hearty dishes but is excellent on its own.

It is a single-vineyard Brunello di Montalcino, which is aged for a full 42 months in Allier oak casks and then 12 months in the bottle in the cellar at Mastrojanni.
