This Friulano has a full, soft texture and ripe fruit, lifted by a fresh citrus acidity and a distinct salty nuance with the classic almond bitterness in the background. With its full body and lively acidity, it handles both dishes with plenty of richness and lighter fish with fresh herbs, where the acidity cuts through fat and salt without taking over. The salty and nutty tone plays beautifully against shellfish and slightly full, creamy dishes, while the absence of tannin makes it friendly toward fish. Feel free to choose dishes with moderate, elegant intensity, so that wine and food meet each other in balance.

About the wine

The aroma offers a delicate blend of sweet flowers and spices.

Welcoming soft texture. It has a full-bodied taste with ripe fruits, elevated by a light citrus acidity and a salty nuance. The classic note of almonds, often found in Friulano wines, is naturally present as well. The body and acidity are in perfect balance. The aftertaste is refreshing and leaves you wanting more.

Friulano is an exquisite wine, originating from a 50/50 combination of two ancient vineyards: "Il Conte" located near Rosazzo Abbey and "Pavoni" (Paon) at Rocca Bernarda, with a northeastern exposure.

The wine is 100% vinified in old oak barrels without malolactic fermentation.

With a limited production of only about 1200 bottles, this wine offers a unique tasting experience that reflects the area's tradition and quality.
