The vineyard dates back to the 1940s and 1950s and is one of the oldest in the area.

The terroir is classic 'Ponca'—comprising of marl with slate and stony clay. This unique soil, combined with a north-facing exposure, creates optimal conditions for the Friuli grapes.

Vinification is done with whole cluster pressing and in old barriques, highlighting the wine's complexity and giving it the refined character that it has.
