This Fiano is a full-bodied yet fresh white wine with distinct acidity, minerality and a lovely softness from its time on the lees. The acidity cuts through richness and oil, while the nutty, honey-spiced aromatics give the wine enough intensity to accompany dishes with a bit of weight without being overpowered. You'll get the best results with salty, mineral and citrus- or herb-fresh dishes, where the acidity cleanses the palate and the nutty notes play up against fish, shellfish and mature cheeses. The wine's persistence and creamy texture also make it good with slightly richer poultry and fatty fish, where body meets body.

About the wine

Fiano wines are known as full-bodied white wines with lots of aromatic notes and wonderful flavors. Nuts, flowers and honey, minerality and fresh herbs.

This wine is no exception.

Vineyards face north‎/northeast, are located at an altitude of 400-600 meters. The canes are more than 60 years old. Harvested manually at the beginning of October

Spontaneous fermentation or inoculation of yeast from the vineyard is used, depending on the vintage. Fermentation lasts 25-30 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. It is then aged for 11 months also on the lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Much is observed here, but rarely intervened. The wine is bottled, no filtering, and aged for 6-8 months in bottle before release.

A unique wine with a long life and where each vintage is somewhat able to express its own identity from year to year.

Nice intense straw yellow colour. A delicious and delicate aromatic assortment of flowers, minerality, fruit, citrus, spices and flint.

A lovely enveloping taste with nutmeg and minerality. Fresh with suitable acidity and yet with lovely softness and persistence.
