This Fiano is full-bodied and aromatic with notes of nuts, flowers, honey, citrus and a pronounced minerality, yet at the same time has a fresh acidity and lovely softness from the eleven months on the lees. The fresh acidity cuts through fattiness and oil, while the body and the nutty, mineral intensity can stand up to dishes with a little more weight and umami. Serve it at 8-10 degrees with shellfish, oily fish and poultry in creamy sauces, where the wine's fullness and citrus notes play off the richness of the dishes without being overpowered.

About the wine

Fiano wines are known as full-bodied white wines with lots of aromatic notes and wonderful flavors. Nuts, flowers and honey, minerality and fresh herbs.

This wine is no exception.

A unique wine with a long life and where each vintage is somewhat able to express its own identity from year to year.

Nice intense straw yellow colour. A delicious and delicate aromatic assortment of flowers, minerality, fruit, citrus, spices and flint.

A lovely enveloping taste with nutmeg and minerality. Fresh with suitable acidity and yet with lovely softness and persistence.

Vineyards face north‎/northeast, are located at an altitude of 400-600 meters. Harvested manually at the beginning of October

Spontaneous fermentation or inoculation of yeast from the vineyard is used, depending on the vintage. Fermentation lasts 25-30 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. It is then aged for 11 months also on the lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Much is observed here, but rarely intervened. The wine is bottled, no filtering, and aged for 6-8 months in bottle before release.
