Sangiovese from Poggioferro on the northwest slope of the ancient volcano Monte Amiata at an elevation of 600 meters.

Super juicy and approachable Sangiovese. Plenty of red berries in fine balance with freshness and soft tannins, and a taste that just invites another sip.

The soil is marl - very calcareous clay, enriched by limestone and minerals from the volcano.

Spontaneous fermentation. Manual pressing.

Made in stainless steel.

Organic.

Total production is about 5,000 bottles in this vintage.
