A deep red Galician wine, which is a truly splendid example of the new Galician Atlantic expression, focusing on a bit less color and much more flavor. 

The taste is full of ripe red berries, with a delightful perfume. Fresh and elegant with a wonderful juiciness, a fascinating aroma, and an almost crisp minerality. The composition evokes associations with fine Pinot Noir from the attractive slopes of Burgundy.

85% Mencía and the remainder a blend of Brancellao, Mouratón, Sousón from vines that are from 80 and up to 110 years old, situated at altitudes of up to 700 meters. 

Fermentation in large open oak vats followed by 12 months in used French barriques and then an additional 10 months in old 4,800-liter Austrian vats before bottling.

An exceptional vintage, which will have a long lifespan.
