This Chardonnay is marked by cool freshness, fine acidity and a chalky minerality, without oak influence, so the expression is clean and precise. It works best with light to medium-bodied dishes, where the acidity lifts and cuts through butter and cream without dominating. Shellfish, lean fish and delicate poultry meet the wine's springiness, while the nutty, acid-fresh white cheeses play up against its mineral line. Keep the dishes finely tuned, so the wine's elegance is given room to unfold.

About the wine

From the slightly cooler altitudes of Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, which give the wines a natural freshness and resilience.

In the glass, the wine appears clear and light with a lively and aromatic nose.

The aroma opens with white flowers, citrus, and fresh pear, followed by a slight chalky minerality.

The taste is precise and pure with a fine acidity that provides lift and energy.

There is a beautiful balance between fruit and structure, and the finish is dry, focused, and persistent.

This is a wine that stands beautifully alone in the glass.

The wine comes from the lieu-dit “Les Rouards” and is made from old vines planted about 70 years ago, which adds extra depth and concentration.

Fermentation occurs with whole clusters, and the wine is subsequently aged for 24 months in glass, preserving a pure and undisturbed expression without influence from oak.
