A true pleasure magnum cuvée.

Elegant and well-balanced Chardonnay from Santenay, combining finesse and complexity.

The aroma is full of fruit, especially yellow fruits. Notes of white flowers.

The taste is delightfully mineral and fresh, with good balance to the fruit.

A subtle creamy structure and a persistent mineral aftertaste that provides a refreshing finish.

The vines were planted in 1990 and 2005, covering 1.57 hectares. The vineyard is located near the village of Chassagne Montrachet on an east-facing, gentle slope. It is only 20 meters below the Premier Cru vineyard Morgeot, Chassagne.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo gentle pressing. The must is lightly clarified before being transferred to 350-liter barrels, where alcoholic fermentation takes place with natural yeast. Subsequently, the wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation during the winter months and matures for 10 months in barrels, one-third of which are new. Finally, the wine is blended to ensure a harmonious whole.

Enjoy this fine Chardonnay in large glasses without too much chilling.

This full-bodied yet fresh Chardonnay from Santenay has a subtle creamy structure from barrel and malolactic fermentation, balanced by a mineral, refreshing acidity. That makes it a fine companion for fish and shellfish in slightly richer preparations, where butter and cream need both weight and acidity to clear the table. The creamy texture meets butter-fried poultry and roasted vegetables, while the mineral aftertaste keeps the richness of fatty cheese and rich sauces in check. Choose dishes with the same elegant intensity, so the wine's finesse isn't run over.
