On the nose, one encounters an inviting aroma of red berries such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by fine notes of spices and a slight earthy tone.

The wine has a rare power and juiciness with a long, elegant aftertaste.

The wine is ideal for serving at 14-15 °C and pairs excellently with poultry dishes, light lamb dishes, or mushroom-based dishes. Enjoyed young for its lively fruit and finesse.

Originates from over 70-year-old vines in a 1.49-hectare plot located in Santenay near Morgeot de Chassagne, on an east-facing slope at an altitude of 270 meters.

The soil consists of clay and limestone, which gives the wine its elegant minerality.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a gentle vinification process, where about 30% of the grapes are kept as whole clusters to add structure and depth. The wine ferments with natural yeast and is subsequently aged in Burgundian oak barrels, of which 15-20% are new, for 18-20 months.
