This elegant Pinot Noir has a medium-bodied frame, crisp acidity, and an earthy, mineral core with delicate fruit of cherry and raspberry. Its soft tannins and fresh acidity make it a fine companion for poultry, mushroom dishes, and light game, where earthy notes play together with the wine's seductive fruit. Charcuterie and smoked meats meet its mineral, lightly spiced style, while the acidity cuts through the richness and keeps it all fresh and balanced.

About the wine

Elegant and complex red wine that combines finesse with depth from the smallest Premier Cru vineyard in Santenay.

The aroma opens with notes of cherry, raspberry, and a hint of spices, complemented by a subtle earthiness and light floral nuances.

Juicy and full-bodied, very elegant. Plenty of delicate fruit and a fantastic crispness. The taste is long and seductive.

Premier Cru located on a south-facing hillside, with a thin layer of soil on top of limestone bedrock from the Jurassic period, characterized by small, rounded limestone pebbles.

In olden days, this was the place where beehives were set up, at a time when bees were referred to as "mouches à miel," "honey flies" - hence the name.

Vinification occurs with most of the grapes destemmed, only about 30% whole clusters. The grapes are not crushed. Natural yeast initiates fermentation.

Maturation takes place in Burgundy oak barriques, 15-20% of which are new.
