Maugeri Etna Bianco Superiore Frontemare DOC 2024

The Carricante grapes grow at 700 meters above sea level on an east-facing single vineyard on the slopes of Etna, Contrada Praino – Milo. The vineyard beautifully overlooks the sea, hence the name 'Frontemare'.

The soil is sandy volcanic soil rich in organic matter and minerals.

The aroma opens with wild scents of lychee, citrus, and herbs.

The taste is extremely delicate and lively with juicy lemon and yellow apples. A truly tasty and incredibly elegant wine!

The grapes are hand-harvested in October. They undergo cryomaceration for six hours and are then pressed as whole clusters. The must is clarified at low temperatures. Fermentation occurs in steel and small French oak barrels, with 30% in steel and 70% in oak barrels. The wine is aged on the lees for 8 months.
