This verdicchio has lively acidity, a delicate minerality and a refreshing bitterness that make it a classic companion to bright dishes from the sea and the kitchen garden. The fresh acidity cuts beautifully through olive oil and light creamy sauces without taking over, while the citrus and apple notes play up against salt and shellfish. Choose delicate preparations such as steaming and poaching, so the wine's medium-bodied frame and elegant expression have room to balance the food rather than dominate it.

About the wine

The wine beautifully captures the essence of the Marche region and Verdicchio's unique character. It shows unparalleled freshness and complexity, with a fine array of flavors and aromas.

The production process is meticulous and unique. The grapes are harvested in three stages, representing different stages of ripeness. This gives depth and complexity to the wine. After gentle pressing, the grape juice undergoes controlled fermentation in stainless steel, preserving the fresh aromas. Aged in cement and stainless steel for 6 months, then refined in the bottle for 2 months.

In the glass, the wine presents a straw yellow color, lighting up with green tinges. The aroma is fresh lemons and lime, complemented by notes of white peaches and pears, adding a subtle sweetness. A fine scent of white flowers is also perceived, giving a sense of lightness and elegance.

The taste starts with lively acidity and a delicate minerality. The citrus fruits are echoed here, accompanied by green apples and a refreshing bitterness. Quite a complex flavor profile, balanced with finesse and leaving a long, refreshing aftertaste.

A truly fine expression of Verdicchio from Marche.

Savory, chewy and balanced in the finish despite its bite.
