Collection: Tabarrini

Giampaolo Tabarrini, who is a 4th generation Tabarrini, runs this amazing place with his wife Federica. The man is brilliant, and since he was the first in the family to start bottling - starting with vintage 1999 Sagrantino - things have gone up almost vertically.

He rediscovered the lost Trebbiano Spoletino grape, and is solely responsible for the newly registered DOC for the wine. The more than 100-year-old trees are 6 meters high and give approx. 300 kg of grapes each.

He was the first to produce Sagrantino Rose, and the first to produce single vineyard wines. There are thus three single-marca Sagrantinos, and Tabarrini has been the producer with the highest ratings in recent years. He is uncompromising and hysterical with his production.

He has just been elected president of Il Consorzio Tutela Vini Montefalco in 2021.
