Trebbiano is one of the most common grape varieties in Italy and is also known as Ugni Blanc in France. It is a productive variety that is often used to produce large quantities of cheap white wine. There are two varieties of Trebbiano; a variety with green leaves and a variety with blue leaves. Both varieties have a high acidity and a neutral taste, which makes them suitable for blends and for producing white wine with a clear, clean taste.
